Great Information Site

http://anvil.gsu.edu/NECC2004/

I think this site is all we'll need to begin a discussion on blogs
and their eductional uses.

What do you think???

Blogs

How's the research coming, gang?

If you haven't already, visit
http://www.blogger.com/start

It's a great blog template site... I went through and created
my own blog in minutes.

What do you think about creating our presentation as a blog?
Or have everyone create their own blog? It's really simple,
I'm sure the "graduate level" student will be able to do it with no problem :)

I thought I'd look for some uses in education. What have ya'll found so far?

Our project

We definitley need to start planning how to set this whole thing up. I
am available after 6, but that means I have to use my inlaws connection-
a dial up. (We are in the process of buying/remodeling our home!) So to
say the least it is very slow.

Perhaps we can try and decide on a topic and then divide and conquer in
regards to the work. I am pretty proficient at using Dreamweaver to
create web pages and already have an account that is active, so I can
take on the actual creation of the interface if everyone agrees. They
aren't completely fancy, but they work.

As for a topic, I am still leaning towards Blogs. I did a quick
breakdown of what we might want to include:

Overview of Blogs- Basically what are they and a quick History
What the research Says- Links to research about Blogs with short
description of the findings
Blogs in education- Discussion of possible uses, examples of how others
are using them
Blogging- Examples and sites that can be used to create a personal blog

We don't have to go with this topic, but I think it is something new and
different. I am open to other ideas.
